Want something fun to do with your pups? Why not bake for them!? You can whip up your own batch of cookies and even customize them however you want! Below is a recipe for some cookies. To shape the cookies, you can use cookie cutters rather than silicon molds. I found the cookie cutters are a bit easier. You can find most of these ingredients at your local Hungry Hound as well. Especially if your pup is a huge fan of our peanut butter and yogurt drops.

Ingredients:

  • 2 1/2 Cup Coconut or Tapioca Flour

  • 2 Eggs

  • 3/4 Can of Fruitables Pumpkin (the green can)

  • 2 Teaspoons Natural Peanut Butter or Organic, Sugar Free Applesauce

  • 1/8 Cup Goat Milk (I prefer Primal)

  • Dash of Cinnamon

  • 1 Container of Hungry Hound Peanut Butter or Yogurt Drops (or both!), separated, and melted.

Directions:

  • Mix all your ingredients (minus the yogurt/peanut butter drops). The mixture will look crumbly. Damp your hands and form the dough into a ball.

  • Press the dough onto parchment paper. Using only your fingers, flatten the dough onto the paper until it’s 1/4 inch thick. Do NOT use a rolling pin. The dough will be too sticky and crumbly.

  • Using a cookie cutter, cut the dough into desired shapes and place on a parchment lined cookie sheet. You can also use a silicon mold. I found the cookie cutter was easier, as the cookies didn’t crumble and fall apart coming out of the silicon mold.

  • Bake at 350 degrees until hard. This usually takes around 30 mins. They should be crunchy, but not burnt.

  • Let them cool completely.

Melt those yogurt or peanut butter drops down, then you can dip the cookies, or even drizzle the melts on top! Happy, healthy Baking!
