Hungry Hound is looking for retail superstars to join our team. Hungry Hound promotes natural products, offers grooming services, and sells the finest merchandise available for dogs. This is the perfect job for someone looking to meet new pups all day, every day, and help them look and feel their best.
Our sales associate position requires an upbeat, positive attitude and the desire to help improve the lives of dogs by offering sound and reliable advice on products and services offered. Must enjoy dealing with people as well as the ability to multi-task while offering excellent customer service.
This position requires you to:
*Be available to work evenings, Saturdays AND Sundays if needed.
*Lift 40lbs off the floor repeatedly.
*Love dogs and the people that love them.
*Work under pressure, being able to handle difficult customer service situations with a smile.
*Be comfortable (and good at!) talking to people and selling.
*Have a passion for natural living.
*Be familiar with dog breeds
*Have the ability to take appointments accurately
**Previous retail experience preferred.
Hungry Hound offers discounts, bonuses, and benefits. This position requires extensive training of up to 4 weeks, and is not seasonal.
